Research and development of optical sensor systems
For more than 15 years, NETWORK GROUP s.r.o. has been participating, together with its sister company PROFIcomms s.r.o., in numerous grands in the field of research and development of optical sensors, special fiber optic components, evaluation electronics, and other systems. We cooperate not only with research institutions such as the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the Czech Academy of Sciences (UPT-AVČR), the Nuclear Research Institute (UJV) in Řež, the Brno University of Technology, the Czech Technical University in Prague, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Žilina, etc., but also with other entities involved in the possible use of fiber optic sensor systems, whether in the field of critical infrastructure security or in the field of industrial measurement of non-electrical quantities. We currently have 14 successfully completed grant projects and 2 currently running. Our goal is to develop products within the framework of research projects that have direct relevance for further commercial application in the field of fiber optic sensor systems and their applications.
